Kerpen Datacom MegaLine® Keystone Jacks & Eline Connectivity

Daro Connectivity are authorised distributors of Kerpen Datacom’s MegaLine® connectivity solutions. The range includes MegaLine® Connect45, Connect45 Pro and Connect45 Pro Plus for cabling systems which can support transmission speeds from 1 to 10 Gb/s. We also supply MegaLine® Connect100 – a cabling system capable of supporting transmission speeds from 10 to 40 Gb/s.

MegaLine® Connect45 connection components combine the highest electrical performance with maximum ease of installation. The basic version, comprising a MegaLine® data cable and MegaLine® Connect45 cable connector, is completed by simply plugging in the required MegaLine® Connect45 jack module.

The MegaLine® system consists of the G20 S/F and G20 S/F flex new data cable and the 40GBit/s-capable MegaLine® Connect100 cable plug. Simply fitting the desired jack module (RJ45, ARJ45™, TERA™), completes the link. The combination of these high-quality individual components is demonstrated by the channel measurement results (Class II). Good reserves were achieved according to the current draft of ISO/IEC 11801-99-1.

MegaLine® connectivity is not only available for mounting within traditional panel designs, but also in Kerpen Datacom’s DClink products. This offers a solution where users can mix both copper and fibre connectivity within a modular 1U or 3U high 19” rack mountable panel.

• MegaLine® Connect45 cable plugs have a cutting/clamping connection and are crimped together with the installation cable. It is the interface to the individually interchangeable MegaLine® Connect45 jack modules. This means that generic transmission links far exceeding the requirements for Class E_A can be achieved, depending on the relevant jack module. The jack module can also be changed retrospectively with ease

• MegaLine® Connect45 Pro Cat 6_A Jack modules in Keystone format are for transmitting analogue and digital voice, image and data signals. The performance features are the same as for Cat. 6_A (ISO/IEC) up to 500 MHz. Class E_A requirements in terms of channel and permanent links according to ISO/IEC 11801 Amendment 1/2 are met from 1 m (Cat. 6_A). The length specifications relate to the 2-connector model

• MegaLine® Connect45 Pro Plus Cat 6_A Jack modules in Keystone & Eline formats for installation in structured cabling acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 and for transmission of analogue and digital voice, image and data signals. Performance features fully meet Category 6_A (ISO/IEC) up to 500 MHz, exceeding requirements in terms of channels & permanent links acc. to Class E_A (ISO/IEC) up to 10 GbE. Toolless assembly and fully compatible with all system components of the MegaLine® Connect45 Pro product family

• MegaLine® Connect100 Jack Modules available in Cat 6_A for transmitting analogue and digital voice, image and data signals. The performance features correspond to Category 6_A up to 500 MHz. Also available in Cat 7_A for transmitting analogue and digital voice, image and data signals. The performance features correspond to Category 7_A (up to 2 GHz).
