Optotec FOCUS Telecom Outside Plant (OSP) Joint Closures

Daro Connectivity provides Optotec FOCUS ODC, CODC, MSC, DOC, CDOC, MicrODC and MicrOTP ranges of environmentally sealed closure solutions for outside plant fibre optic cable jointing applications utilised in fibre optic network deployments.

FOCUS ODC closures are a round butt cable entry design with three dome lengths & three base configurations to ensure a solution to current network requirements can be readily accommodated. Closures can be deployed underground in man-holes, hand-holes or in pole-mount, wall and aerial applications and are available with pressure valve and grounding kit if required.

Splicing density up to a maximum splice capacity of 2112 fibres, depending upon dome size and type of Splice Array Modules used.

FOCUS CODC closures are a compact flat rectangular butt cable entry design with two dome lengths configurations to ensure a solution to current network requirements can be readily accommodated. Closures can be deployed underground in man-holes, hand-holes or in pole-mount, wall and aerial applications and are available with pressure valve and grounding kit if required.

Splicing density up to a maximum splice capacity of 384 fibres, depending upon dome size and type of Splice Array Modules used.

FOCUS MSC closures are a round butt cable entry design with one dome length and high-capacity 96F splice trays to support up to 768 splices per closure can be readily accommodated. Closures can be deployed underground in man-holes, hand-holes or in pole-mount, wall and aerial applications and are available with pressure valve and grounding kit if required.

FOCUS DOC and CDOC closures are solutions based on the ODC and CODC closures but with splice and patch capability to ensure a solution for network demarcation requirements. Closures can be deployed underground in man-holes, hand-holes or in pole-mount, wall and aerial applications and are available with pressure valve and grounding kit if required.

FOCUS µODC and FOCUS µOTP closures have been designed specifically with FTTx Networks in mind. With a volume of ≤2 litres (240 x 155 x 65mm [HxWxD]), high impact resistance (IK 10) and ingress protection (IP 68) its ideally suited for installation in manholes, direct burial, aerial, pedestal and façade applications in the outside plant environment. Its mechanically sealed and is also offered with the option of a pressure valve and grounding point.
