Optotec FOCUS NGB0/NGB1/NGB2 IP55 Customer Premise Enclosures
Daro Connectivity is an authorised distributor of Optotec’s FOCUS NGB range of splice-only Customer premise fibre optic splice enclosures. Environmentally sealed, utilising a modular cassette management system enabling cable-to-cable splicing.
The FOCUS NGB range is a butt cable entry enclosure design, injection moulded using high-quality thermoplastic materials. Offering the installer various configuration options to ensure a solution to current network requirements can be readily accommodated. Enclosures can be deployed indoors; externally on façade walls, street side cabinets or in pole-mount applications.
FOCUS NGB enclosures are available in three base styles; ‘0’ small suitable for splicing capacities up to 48 fibres, ‘1’ medium suitable for splicing capacities up to 192 fibres and ‘2’ large suitable for splicing capacities up to 288 fibres. Fibre splicing and management is undertaken with Optotec’s FOCUS SAM (splice array modules) system which introduce various splicing densities and functionality for single fibre, multi-fibre heat-shrink or crimp style splice protection.
