Universal Fire Secure Central Tube Cable
Daro Connectivity is an authorised distributor of Kerpen Datacom’s GigaLine® KL-U-D(ZN)BH CI 90 1xn G/E range of Universal fire secure central tube cables with 90-minute circuit integrity (CI) for fixed installation.
Fibre optic universal cable with central jelly filled loose tube, with non-metallic rodent protection and CI. Inner fire barrier. Fire protection tape made of woven glass. The cable is completely metal-free and non-conductive (dielectric).
Installation cable suitable for campus/backbone cabling and structured cabling acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173. Ideal for all applications from Class OF 300 to OF 10000. Suitable for installation in applications involving more rigorous mechanical requirements as well as risk of rodent damage. Suitable for splicing. House connections possible without additional interconnection points (splices).
Indoor and outdoor installation in dry conduits, on covered cable trays. For automated cable pulling with cable winches the use of tensile-force-recording equipment is obligatory.
Maximum twenty-four 250-micron fibres within a central filled tube surrounded by fire protection tape then glass yarns for rodent protection and encapsulated within a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) UV resistant cable sheath.
Universal Fire Secure central tube cables are available with various fibre performance grades to suit a wide range of installation requirements. Spanning single mode, laser optimised multi-mode (LOMMF) 50/125 grades OM3, OM4 and the more recent wide band multi-mode (WBMMF) OM5 fibre.
